I love these photographs but they are by no means perfect... they were taken on a little Sony Cybershot on automatic settings... it it was on this trip I realised that yes, I could take OK shots but I could never really capture the true colours of the place which I found very frustrating...
Since that trip...my cameras have improved, my eye has improved (hopefully) and I have been to several more colourful parts of the world...thousands of photographs later, I've realised that what I am doing takes an awful lot of luck but the more tools you have in your box the better!!!
I am on this course because basically I want to take better photographs, the photographs above are very amateur, with loads wrong with them but they bring back how I was feeling at the time, my mood, the heat in the air, the freedom in what I was doing, everything...this makes them very powerful and this is why I love them...
